I couldn't find this tune on youtube. It should be there. Classic Bromberg doing blues on the slide guitar from his first album. Great lyrics.

Inspired by the masterful way David Bromberg did this tune on his first album, here's my not-so-masterful version played on my modified 1971 Martin D-35 that's sounding better than ever.

Yes, specifically a D-18GE Golden Era 1934. and it sounds as good as it looks!. My favorite guitar. Looks like you might have some Martins? I'm guessing an OM28 on Couch Potato, HD28 on Arkansas Traveler and A D-18 on Shoeshine Boy? @@nige2410

Always amazing to hear this!
I came to know the work of Sir Neville by listening intently to the late night broadcasts of CBC personality Alan McPhee and his radio program: Eclectic Circus. The Academy was always conducted so bravely, or competently, by "nifty" or "neat" Neville Mariner. They've both passed, but I'm sure they're waiting at The Gates till my own work is done.

One reason his sound is so pure is because he’s playing on the right side of the nail…. Terribly underrated within the pantheon of all time greats.
